Even the drums are under the spell.
It's not a real fast song and Angus's guitar is mixed to sound
less pronounced through most of the song.
I like to listen to this album myself, it does have a bunch of
good tunes. It's difficult to justify purchasing this album for
3 songs if you already have the entire ACDC collection. You
won't find them anywhere else though and if you don't have a
bunch of ACDC albums you could find this album great for your
smaller collection. I personally could have purchased this album
instead of Fly On The Wall and been satisfied if I wasn't a
collector. It really has the best songs from Fly and 3 three new
songs are nice and groovy.
Another question to ask yourself before purchasing Who Made Who
is: Do you like instrumentals. If you don't then you may only be
interested in the title track on Who Made Who if you have an
extensive ACDC collection.
If money's not an issue then this album is certainly a must have
for the simple reason it plays out nice and has 3 songs you
can't get anywhere else.
D.T. is a cool sounding instrumental tune with that wet spicy
saturated reverb sound from Fly On The wall. I really like this
song and it fits great before Sink The Pink since it has that
Fly sound.
Chase The Ace is the second instrumental tune on the Who Made
Who album. It should come as no surprise to find out this song
also carries that tinny 80's echo sound. This track sounds cool
though, it has a nice groovy rhythm.
Both the instrumentals are great and I think if some cool lyrics
were put to them they could have become classics.
I do have to admit I'm glad Who Made Who was the last album with
the saturated echo tone. If you want to add this one to your
collection I can definitely understand why.
